So! It's almost been a year. My, how time flies. I probably should have updated the journal a bit more often.

Yeah, so University's gone well. Not fantastic, but well. I've been a bit more active than I was before, I've added a few pieces since I've started. This may continue, possibly!

Although, having just read my "turn over a new leaf, stop being a lazy person with no purpose in life" entry before I started at Uni, I can say this: Ahahaha haha ha ha.

Okay, so after spending a year at work, I have just over a month before I start at university. Am I apprehensive? A little. But I am looking forward to it.

I've done very little posting on here the last year or so; having just finished my job, I do have a bit of free time so I may put something up then. Not sure whether I'll be posting much during Uni, though. I'll definitely try.

So, yeah.

ALSO: For those of you that play Metal Gear Online on a regular basis: when did the game start working? I borrowed MGS4 from a mate a few months ago, and I could get into a game once in ten tries, at best? Now I've bought it for myself, the last three games I played I got into fine.

Either my connection's changed, or the game's improved. Also, the extra 10,000 points for character bling were a nice touch.

Idea:

Hire two people (preferably middle-class?) to stand around in public places, in macs or jackets, smoking roll-ups, and generally looking shifty and working-class.

Hello. I thought I might as well update, as the last time was AGES ago.

I enjoyed my holiday in Bulgaria, visiting relatives. Bulgaria is a very nice country, and said relatives have settled in very nicely (they've gone over as a retirement plan; they live very comfortably on what probably would have been a pittance in this Green and Pleasant Land).

Started my new job, which is very good. I actually feel like part of a team, rather than just a temp. I've been given some interesting tasks to do (creating webpages, presentations, etc.) and I'm being involved. Very nice.

Call of Duty 4 is still my favourite game. It's just so effortlessly brilliant. This, I think, is the longest I've been entranced by a game (I might have spent similar times on Counter Strike: Source and Team Fortress 2, though).

Also! I used some vouchers I got for a birthday present (Aaages ago) today, and got me some classic albums. AC/DC's Highway to Hell and Back in Black, and Metallica's Ride the Lightning.

Initial impressions: AWESOME?

Also, learning to drive. Yay! Progress!
